[News] The Sino-Korean Joint Committee on Basic Science Approves 32 Bilateral Cooperation and Exchange Projects
From China On Jul. 4, 2012
The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) has announced on June 11th a list of 22 visiting exchange projects and 10 bilateral workshops which will be jointly supported by the NSFC and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF). The 32 successful proposals have been selected out of 125 valid applications by the Sino-Korean Joint Committee on Basic Science.
The duration of each project will be two years (July 2012 to June 2014).
Number of exchange projects / conferences by area of study:
- Mathematics: 3 / 1
- Chemistry: 4 / 2
- Life Science: 3 / 1
- Earth Science: 2 / 1
- Material Science: 3 / 1
- Information Science: 3 / 1
- Management: 2 / 2
- Medicine: 2 / -
