Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What do I need to do to have an event indexed in the Events and Meetings?

A: Simply send us the URL of the event (same for other categories such as Research Fundings, S&T Related Organizations and S&T Links).

We are indexing:
- Events in ASEAN countries, Australia, China, India, Japan, Republic of Korea and New Zealand
- Events for researchers; mainly conferences that call for papers, and also seminars, symposiums, workshops and tutorials which users of ASTP can participate in.
- Exhibitions are not in our scope, unless it includes an academic meeting.

Q: How should I contribute an article for the Articles and Commentaries?

A: You are welcome to share your experience and opinions on international colaborative research and research exchange in Asia. See here for the Author Guidelines (PDF).

Q: How can I be listed at the Technology Transfer Professional Directory?

A: Are you working at a Technology Licensing Office, or serving like a staff of TLO? Then, please fill in the following form and email us: ASTP_TTP.xls

Q: When I am using Internet Explorer (IE), some pages get very very wide and is hard to read...

A: When accesing ASTP using IE8 or IE9 with the "Compatibility View" on, there are reports that some page layout become broken.

To switch the Compatibility View off, look for the button with a torn-paper icon on the right of the address bar, or tap [tools] menu and click "Compatibility View" (check mark gets off).
